So a week on and we have heard from the 'Rats mouth'. Nick Griffin, was given his chance to raise the profile of his vile and disgusting party, but thank God the BBC and our system allowed him the opportunity to share his confused, hypocritical racist views. Whilst Mr Dimbleby and his colleagues, in my view did set MR Griffin up, the BNP PR fortunately made a big mistake, he was nothing short of a political joke and we should commend the BBC for setting him upon in the way they did. What a fool he is to have taken the stage believing he would get a chance to preach his nonsense.
Any sensible person knew the show would be a ‘ok let’s see what you’re about then BNP’ and that is what the public got. Brilliant my 13 year old daughter, normally glued to her MSN, twitter and facebook, could not be drawn away from this vile ignorant man on the TV, and loved the fact that (Bonnie Greer) one guest speaker kept her back to him the whole time. I did not state any views to her, but she soon asked me who the ‘fat man’ was and why was he so nasty? Didn’t take her long to realise the importance of sport, diet and questions my logic for her to get a degree on the basis that he had one! Female logic that just cannot be argued with. Mr Griffin is no longer cocooned in a safe environment with just his followers; he now has to be accountable for his party’s views as an elected Politician. No longer can he spout off about his racists views with just his followers, he has to be accountable, and clearly this is not going to be possible or legal for the BNP.
The failure of the Labour Government has given these splinter groups power by failing to represent British people (White, Black, Pink, Yellow) and controlling our borders and neglecting our ‘own’ people and interest regardless of race or religion.
Griffin, looked out of his depth, frightened, and confused. There are no more doubts or confusion about this man and who he represents. His arguments and sniggering when he denied the Holocaust, denied sharing a stage with the Ku klux clan leader, ( it can be seen on youtube), he laughed at key issues because his party had no answers other than to laugh off his party’s racists beliefs. He was laughable, and even his staunches supporters will struggle to understand what benefits were gained by appearing on this show, they blew it.
My respect goes out to the other guest speakers for sharing a stage with this vile man, all be it showing their backs to him! To Jack Straw who is of Jewish decent, and the other mixed race speakers who behaved impeccably throughout. The only other good news was Mr Straw’s inability to defend the Labour party’s shambolic immigration policies.
So in the end we were not disappointed a great Question time, thank you BBC from me and my daughter, the first time in years that I have received any value for my License fee.
